DryBees Cloth Diaper Review and Giveaway (Closed)

In 2003, Lisa Adkins began sewing diapers because, at the time, prefold cloth diapers were pretty much the only kind of diaper available. After sharing pictures of her diapers with friends online, the idea was widely received. Thus, she decided to start selling them.

Although Lisa's original name for her diapers was DryBaby, she settled on DryBees so she could use a cute bee for her logo.

Shortly after she began to sell her cute cloth diapers, Lisa purchased the Wahmies Company. Later on, she partnered with Rocky Mountain Diapers and collectively they are known as Cloth Diaper Company.
Features

  • Elastic inside and outside to keep interts in.
  • Soft stay-dry liner.
  • No-roll topstitching.
  • Strong hook and loop closures with laundry tabs.
  • Gentle yet durable elastic leg gussets to prevent leaks.
  • Waterproof outer shell replaces the need for a cover.
  • Proudly made in the U.S.A.!
Discover It

Lisa sent us one of her DryBees Midnight Blue Fleece Night Time cloth diapers.

The hook and look closures on the DryBees cloth diaper are securely zig-zag stitched into place. The remaining of the diaper has sturdy straight stitching with matching thread.

The closures do have laundry tabs, which is a piece of loop strip that you close the hook closure against to prevent the hook closure from grabbing onto other hook and loop strips or fabrics while in the laundry. Very helpful!

Probably the neatest feature about this cloth diaper is the insert that is permanently attached inside. This makes it quick and easy to just put the diaper on baby. Plus I appreciate that there is still a pocket in case you would like to add additional inserts.

Now it's time to see how the Little Mister's testing of the diaper went.

The diaper fits him securely and snugly. Since it is hook and loop closure, however, I definitely had to put a onsie on him while he wore it (he's figured out how to undo hook and loop closures–and the closures on the disposable diapers, the little stinker).

The diaper successfully survived both number one and number two, plus a full night! This makes it a great diaper in my opinion.
