Being a human, it is important that I keep hydrated. Being pregnant, it is more important to keep hydrated. And having gestational diabetes while pregnant makes it yet even more important to keep hydrated. Which is why I soon fell in love with this water bottle! Since I am supposed to drink 120 ounces of water a day (yes, I know the inside of our bathroom VERY well), this bottle is very handy. I fill it twice and drink it throughout the day. It looks less daunting than filling and refilling an 8-ounce glass 16 times because it puts me in the mindset that I only need to drink 2 of these!
Besides being big enough to help me drink what I should, the Pure bottle came with a freezer stick and a water filter. So it keeps it cold AND clean (and tasty thanks to the filter)! Which is awesome news both for my own health and for the health of the baby I am carrying inside.
The Pure bottle also has a handy gauge around the lid to keep track of how much water I am drinking. The dial goes from 1 to 12. Just twist it to where the arrow is pointing at the correct number. Again, being pregnant, this is a life saver–I have TERRIBLE pregnesia!
The Little Mister doesn’t like sippy cups any more. But he LOVES straws. Enter the EZ-Freeze Cool Zooey Fliptop.
The Cool Zooey Fliptop bottle, as it’s name clearly gives away, has a flip top. This keeps the straw tucked down and clean when not being used.
Besides the handy straw (which, by the way, comes apart for more thorough cleaning), the BPA-free Cool Zooey bottle also comes with a freezer stick to keep the Little Mister’s drink nice and cold!
The Little Mister really enjoyed his bottle! And both the Mister and I loved it too, because, when dropped onto its side, it didn’t leak!
Overall, I and my whole family really like both water bottles. They’re convenient, easy to wash (all but the freezer sticks and filter are top-rack dishwasher safe!), attractive, and simple to use. The only thing I wish came with the Pure bottle is a plain old plastic straw so that I could drink something other than plain water (like tea or flavored water) without getting the filter yucky (only plain water should go through the filter).
