Welcome to this week's MondayMingle Blog Hop! My awesome co-hostesses for this hop are A.L. of Graphoniac and May of One Moment in Time.
Since Google Friend Connect (GFC) is going bye-bye for non-Blogger blogs this upcoming March and perhaps for Blogger blogs as well in the future, I have decided to make the MondayMingle blog hop more than just a GFC hop–it's now also a G+ page hop! So if you have set up a G+ page (best if it's a page, not personal account, as the page holds the numbers you want to boost), then link it up to gain followers!
If you are new to blog hops, they are very simple. To participate, just link to your home page (for GFC) or to your G+ page in the linky below and share your blog's button. Then, follow the hostesses and as many other blogs as you can. Let them know you followed via a comment and leave a link to your blog/G+ so they can follow back. To leave your link in a comment, type the following (replacing "LINK" with your blog's URL or your G+ URL and "YOUR BLOG" with your blog's title):
<a href="http://www.LINK.com>YOUR BLOG</a>
If you're wondering what the point of a blog hop is, it's to gain followers! Why gain followers? To monetize your site in one way or another (including reviews and giveaways). Numbers are important to many PR people–they want their brands and products to reach a wide audience. So hop along and watch your statistics grow!
The Rules
- You are kindly asked to follow the hostesses (we're the first three links below). If you're a new follower, let us know and we'll follow back (be sure to leave a link to you GFC or G+ page).
- You blog must be FAMILY FRIENDLY.
- Leave a direct link to your HOME PAGE (for GFC follow) or your G+ PAGE (NOT your personal G+ account).
- DO NOT link to any specific post, giveaway, or linky.
- Try to visit at least three other blogs and follow them.
- If you already follow a blog via GFC or G+, consider following them another way (Twitter, Facebook, Networked Blogs, etc.).
- Leave a comment or message on each of the blogs you follow so they know you followed them. It's also helpful if you leave your blog's or G+'s URL so they can follow you back more easily.
- Be sure to follow back everyone who follows you.
