About

Meet TJ

howdyHowdy! I am TJ, the founder, main writer, head editor, and owner of Measuring Flower. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Writing and held a brief career as a chef before committing my life to serve as the stay-at-home wife to a loving, hard-working husband I call the Mister and mom to 3 adorable, sweet, energetic little kids I refer to as the Little Mister, the Little Guy, and the Little Lass.

About Measuring Flower

I founded Measuring Flower more or less in late 2010. When I began, I  was strictly a how-to-coupon website. Since then, I have pretty much ditched *most* of my extreme couponing ways in favor of healthy food and natural living. And that healthy food and natural living is  what this blog is now all about.

My Philosophy

My philosophy {what I believe} here on Measuring Flower is that everything in life should be as God created it to be. This means I stick to these three beliefs:

Numbers 1Natural Living

Using things (products and beyond) that are eco-friendly, responsible, and healthy.

Numbers 2Real Food

Uniting healthy, simple ingredients to create dishes that are good for your body while still packed full of delicious flavor.

Numbers 3Simple Life

Living simply to me means less is more, that our homes should have organizational systems that serve us, and that family life should take priority and be full of quality not complication.
