Armed with a background in biotechnology and motivated by an interest in preventative medicine and health, Kevin Brodwick founded ThinkOperations with the ThinkSport and ThinkBaby divisions in 2006. His innovative products provide people from childhood to adulthood with alternative products to their unthoughtful mass-produced counterparts. ThinkSport provides water bottles, yoga mats, and sunscreen to encourage adults to lead energetic, exercise-rich lifestyles while ThinkBaby provides bottles, sippy cups, feeding sets, and safe sunscreen to ensure that babies are well-nourished and safely protected from the sun.
ThinkOperations sent us a ThinkBaby feeding set in blue and a 25-ounce ThinkSport insulated water bottle for review.
The ThinkBaby feeding set consisted of a large bowl with lid, a small bowl with lid, a square bowl with lid, a mug, a fork, and a spoon.
Each of the feed set items has a BPA-free external liner and a stainless interior.
The Little Mister really enjoyed each of the dishes–especially the mug because it meant he could drink like a big boy. The fork and spoon were a bit small for him (he is 2 years old), but his little brother will be able to use them very soon.
The 25-ounce ThinkSport bottle that I selected is the Silver color. The stainless steel provides insulation to keep cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot. Since I am trying to eat and drink more healthfully, I will probably only use this bottle for water.
The lid on the bottle consists of 3 parts: the main lid, the spout cover, and the strap that holds the mouth cover to the bottle.
The main opening on the bottle is nice and wide, making it super easy to fill with ice and liquid.
The bottle came with a strainer than goes inside the main opening on the bottle. This is good for enjoyed loose leaf tea or (as I used it) to keep ice from getting inside your mouth while drinking.
I found the ThinkOperations products to be innovative and convenient. They are very attractive and easy to use. What I appreciated the most about the ThinkSport bottle was the fact that the lid screws shut. This meant that I could bring the bottle out into the living room with me without worrying about my 2 year old messing with and spilling it (well, that is if I remember to screw the lid on). I also like the 25 ounce size. It isn't so bulky that it's difficult to carry around, but it's big enough to make drinking 100 ounces (my daily goal) of water less of a daunting task (I keep reminding myself I only need to fill this bottle 4 times and it doesn't sound like so much water!).
The ThinkBaby products would make excellent baby shower or first birthday party gifts and the ThinkSport water bottle would make an awesome gift for moms and dads, active people, expecting moms, and people who work at drinking a lot of water.
